THE DATABASE OF RECORD since 1978 FOR CORPORATE BANKRUPTCY AND RESTRUCTURING INFORMATION
Our process begins with our distressed company analysis. Our analysts use proprietary technology and methods to discover companies that exhibit signs of stress from debt trading at a discount to distressed debt exchanges.
When a company does file for bankruptcy, we kick into gear. We compile a database of case information for all companies (regardless of size) that file for bankruptcy in the 94 U.S. Bankruptcy Courts. We provide the filing petition for all cases and include special treatment for corporate filings we dub “priority cases”.
Priority cases are defined as publicly traded companies with debt and/or equity and all companies with 10MM in funded debt. These companies are tracked and reported on daily. This process allows us to continue collecting, editorializing and structuring data about the bankruptcy including, but not limited to: plans of reorganization and disclosure statements, debtor-in-possession financing, professional fee, mandate and retention data, 363 sales motions, key employee incentive plans, monthly operating reports, claim transfer activity, securities and security pricing data, committee information…..
Our platform allows subscribers to flesh out extensive details pertaining to individual bankruptcies, identify a group of companies that meet specific criteria, or stay on top of the industry as a whole.
BankruptcyData has revolutionized the way in which professionals interested in the bankruptcy sector consume, share, manage, and leverage vital data, research, and analysis. We provide a competitive and cost-effective advantage to those interested in making more informed decisions regarding bankruptcy and distressed sectors.
